Vets, farriers etc around Cirencester

Hi all,

Hopefully got a place at the RAC for next september and so now looking at options round the area.

Is there anyone who could recommend a good vets, farrier, saddler and feed merchant? Also livery yards - DIY or part? (the uni has a yard but want to look at the options). I have a car so willing to travel up to about 10-15 mins max from the uni.

Also, any competition centres etc. - would love to be able to carry on competing a bit!

Hi

I'm in Nailsworth so about 15/20 mins down the road. I use Willesley vets (now combined with Bushy) based in Tetbury for my 2, Stroud Saddlery for saddle fitting and Stroud Farm Services for feed etc

Summerhouse (gloucester outskirts) do plenty of sj/dressage comps (affiliated and unaffiliated) if you've got transport for your horse. Also do some working hunter I believe.
