Who do you really rate?
I am fairly happy with mine atm, but would like to see who everyone thinks is good (particularly for prepurchase vettings)
Thanks

I use Tyrells......

I had a 'disagreement' with Fellowes farm (back when they were Green & Tong), so won't use them!

Avice at the Cambridge Vet School or Jeremy Allen from Greenwood Ellis. Jeremy particularly for vettings.

i've heard good things about greenwood ellis...
i'm with Isle in Wardy Hill (nr Ely) because they are close and call out charge is good. i've never had a problem with them - though have never needed them for more than general vetting and sedation.

I sooo highly recommend Jeremy from Greenwood and Ellis and would not use another vet. HAve used him for near 10 years now although hes quite shy hes a great vet, he failed my TB when we bought her where as she passed when someone looked at her :$ from rossdales (dont recommend them) Greewood and Ellis are very through also he managed to find out that my mare had navi even though she was sound but reared so are amazing in diagnosis would so highly recommend them and lovely, although vet school is ok not brilliant but cheaper than most others. Plus Greenwood and Ellis have most up to date facilities

Does Greenwood Ellis operate under the name Newmarket Equine Hospital? That's what i get when i google

I have used Fellowes Farm Equine clinic for over 20 years and can honestly say that I have never had any problems with them.

I also used a practise in Stevenage called Walton Lodge Equine. They had two brilliant vets, one spanish and one french but they have since moved on.

I think it's like everything, some people get on with one practice better than another based on their experiences.

Vet school for me if needed in an emergancy, as my father is my vet for minor stuff. He taught there for many years. Lucky me

Cambridge Vet School - Avice is brilliant. Jeremy Allen at Greenwood Ellis is also good - I've known him for years and wouldn't say he was shy LOL!!!!!

those are the only 2 I would recommend.

I use fellows farm and have never had a problem with them but with lamness issues I will only ever ask for David Rutherford or Stuart Thorne.

The real plus side for me is that they are only 5 mins away from me.

Yup greenwood and ellis are under newmarket equine hospital, hmm i still think jeremy would be classed as shy although it may be my point of view as im a little loud lol im going to uni to do vetmed after my gap year and always gets me involved with what hws doing with horses which is really great
