Vets in leicestershire

Is chine house the only horse vet in leicestershire?
I am doing my work experiance in november and i only have 1 week with chine house and was wondering if there were any other vets in leicester?

Wow - you're going to a vets? That will be really good for work exp. There are other vets in Leics but Chine House are the best - I think the vets in Oakham are good for horses as well, but I don't know if that's too far.

wow, that'll be some fabby work experience. I know Oakham vets are highly rated by a fe wpople at the yard I'm at (and they've been in Your Horse mag recently

Oakham are good, they have alot of students there.

Theres also town and country vets in Market harborough.

We used Oakham for 3 and a half years (don't live there anymore alas) and they are probably the best non specialist vets I have ever been with. Really really recommend them.

Def Oakham, they operated on my horsey

they are all fab and very friendly. Don't go to Town and Country, they are ok for dogs and cats, but horses? None are experienced enough IMHO.

I did my opwrk experience at Oakham Vets (more years ago than I care to remember)

They are equine vets with MRI facilities and linked to the University of Nottingham
