Vets in Manchester for Microchipping?

So i'm not too sure if Rosie is Microchipped and we need to send off for a passport for her )-:
Could anyone recommend any vets around the Manchester (Salford) area that can microchip/check? My mother insists on getting out David Eccles but I've read he is plain rude.
And also a rough price estimate for the recommended vet please!

Oh and on the side, does the passport silhouette have to be completed by a vet?

Gillivervet or Brown Moss Equine both cover that area. Both of them are nice and pleasant although I would say Gillivervet are nearest and cheaper.

Do Gillivervet come out to your yard? Also I assume they have a call out fee too?

the callout fee depends on the distance travelled, I'm fairly local to Gillivervet, and their callout is approx £36 but will be more depending on distance.
