Vets near Hungerford/Marlborough

I'm trying to be really prepared...possibly jumping the gun

I'm going to view a foal near Hungerford and I'd like recommendations for a quality veterinary practice who could do a vetting.

Youve got a choice of a couple locally, Valley Equine Hospital in Lambourne or you have Donningtongrove ( O'Gorman, Slater & Main ) at Newbury. These are both decent practices.

Have responded in NL already, but for the record.....

I use O'Gorman Slater and Main and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Both Jamie O'Gorman and Emiliano have done vettings for me and I was very happy with their thoroughness. Alex (female) has also been out to me routine and emergency (lovely to see a smiling vet at midnight!) and she seems very good as well although she hasn't done a vetting for me. Hope that helps.

Another option would be Andrew Mcgonnell who does a lot if stud work

If you use o Gormans definitely use Jamie - or Andrew at Mcgonnell and Gillet
