Indie has always had small raised brown patches from a few mm to 1cm, sort of hard and waxy, hard to get off but if you peel them off the skin bleeds underneath sometimes so I've left them alone. The skin underneath her feet between her toes has been very sore with what the vet thinks is an allergy gone infectious and when she saw these patches on her back legs she said it looked bacterial and to wash them with hibiscrub when I did her feet.
Now I think these patches may be what's making her feet sore as they have appeared in a couple of spots (my eyesights not great and they may have been there all along!) When I wash her feet some areas of this brown stuff won't come off but go sort of like fat when it hits cold water even if I wash it with warm water. Nearly 3 weeks later with 2 different antibiotics one of the feet, the one with the most noticable patches, has still not really got any better. It's red, cracks and bleeds underneath these patches and the pads are swollen, when I wash her the cotton wool pads come off brown but then 6 hours later when I do it again more brown comes off so it's building up again.
Has anyone ever heard of this
