Vetting 5*?

God its years since i had my horse vetted, but i was told they needed to be able to contact me ( i wasnt there either) so if they found anything they could call and i could decide whether they continue with the vetting or stop. I found it really stressful and was phone watching and pacing up and down, you get the results immeadiately ( well when ever the vet decideds to call) they take bloods but dont test them unless you ask them to for any reason.

Unless you are having X-rays done you will know as soon as it is finished. Just one point - It is a 5 STAGE vetting not 5 star, this is because the vetting has 5 stages.....da, da clever hey! For some unknown reason it really annoys me when they are referred to as 5 star so I am making it my personal job to educate the community

Ah, I suspect the vet will contact you once the vetting is done then.

I've always been present for a vetting - it really helps to be able to discuss things there and then with the vet and horse in front of you.

me too - it's not 5 star, it's 5 stage!

and you'll get a call with the results later. there are no tests to wait for results for.

You should be rung as soon as vet gets back in car once vetting is complete...or they will ring you if they find anything half way through...
As above, there are no tests - they take blood if you've asked for it, but only for storage incase horse was sedated/bute etc at time of vetting!
