I am getting a horse vetted soon and prior to this have agreed on a price for her. However if the 5 stage vetting shows up any problems but I still want to buy is it possible to negoitate on price again oris more or less set in stone now?

Depends on what it is in the vetting and the owner! My horses vetting showed up a splint I hadnt noticed (

) and we also had her scoped because she made a bit of a noise, but with investigation neither things will cause her any problems, and aren't an issue, so therefore I couldnt negotiate any further. If it brings something significant up on the vetting, would you still want the horse?!

imo,,, the vetting may well pick stuff up and that therefore opens price negotiations up again, if it passes with flying colours then the price stands as it is!!!!!

If it falied for something major or the vet thought it wouldnt be able to compete jumping I think Id have to walk away tbh even though I absolutley love the horse and shes one of the best ive sat on for jumping!

I bought a horse after agreeing a price but it failed a flexion test, he was sound otherwise. I negotiated a lower price based on the fact he didn't pass.
Love him to bits

he ticked everyother box so i took the gamble.

You have agreed a price on a clean 5* vet. If it isn't a clean 5* vet then you start negotiations all over again.

As a seller, that's what I would expect.
