just had my fell pony vetted prior to sale the lady rang me to saay he had failed
why
his eye lashes on one eye point more downwards than the other eye not touching eye nor can he find anything wrong with his sight but he wont pass him just in case its the start of something he cant find wtf why do we bother having vettings to be given dribble like this lady now darnt buy him as insurance wont cover the eye as vet has mentioned the problem but she really wants him so we are getting a second opinion next week rang my vet he sad wtf too lol
just out of interst check your equines eye lashes and see which way they point and if all are the same both sides lets have a survay and i will pass on to vet in question

That's ridiculous! My friend's horse failed a vetting once for having an insect bite on her neck. Vet failed her incase it became septic or something which it never did! I suppose they have to be so careful these days to make sure they don't get sued but you're right it is a bit stupid!
