Don't usually do these kind of posts but feel really sorry for my friend today.

Her little daughter's beloved Shetland gelding is colicking badly - spasmodic. He has also had a seizure and managed to get stuck under the fence rolling before they found him. They are on their way to Potters Bar now. Please keep fingers crossed, she was really upset earlier and is usually the most pragmatic and level headed person in a horse-related emergency. As she said though, she can cope if its someone else's horse - even her own, but for her little one's pony to be in such a bad situation....its heartbreaking.

Anyway - any spare vibes for Tiny the shetland would be great!

Thanks again for vibes. He had colic surgery last night, they found a haemotoma they couldn't reach so had to leave, and also multiple lacerations in his small intestine, as well as blood in his abdominal cavity. He is in recovery and 'OK' but prognosis very guarded, and risk of infection obviously significant, as well as being likely to have recurring colic episodes.
So it is still a case of wait and see at the moment.
