Please if there are any vibes going spare could I please have them for Nora tomorrow at about 1pm? Its her reassessment after 6 weeks of walking, although the past few days i will admit to doing a few strides of trot to successfully prevent her from showing me her audition for the spanish riding school...

And also just because I came across it when sorting out files on my computer... a picture of me doing my first event a decade ago, on a 30 year old pony (whos still going strong now!)... I came second

although I am ashamed to admit that my mother convinced a current HHO member who was tack checking to let me do the dressage in an illegal sweet iron/roller style snaffle as the pony was a bit of a tank when we got outdoors!!

Vibes on their way for Nora tomorrow x
How old were you there, you look about 8 to me, tiny - bless. Lovely pic.
Like your new siggy btw - much nicer than the previous one.

Vibes for Nora...and here's my contribution to the 'my first event when I was eight' part of the thread....that pony was 14.2, those are the fields round what is now Half Moon Stud in Dorset...and body protectors did not exist if you were not a professional or a jockey!!

All I think when I look at it is I understand why my mother was so terrified at the time LOL! If that pony had had the energy to gallop off I would have be screwed!!

Hehe, he's with a family who seem to have inherited alot of my other ponies (they really od look after them well!), and the youngest daughter doesn't ride him anymore but they had a 40th birthday party for him the other day... was v sweet

nobody really knows how old he is but when we got him 12 years ago the horse dentist aged him at late 20s... we think he must have been some pony when he was young!!
