Some vibes need for my little mare as she is off to horsepital next week for a few days for lameness investigations.
Up until around a month ago she was doing brilliantly and we were all set for some dressage. She had come back from an injury at end of last year so was over moon she was going so well.
Couple of days before dressage test she got kicked on inside of right hind right on the inside if the hock. Vet called and as she wasn't lame ans wounds not too deep was given bute, antibiotics and a few days rest until swelling went down. Back in hacking work and some very light schooling around a week or so later and felt good. Had scheduled Physio which she has every couple of month and was found to be very sore on right side of her back possibly linked to when she had been kicked (she had done a good job of kicking my other horse at same time so possibly tweaked herself) Physio treated back gave her a week off and was coming back to see her to reassess her. 5 days into this rest week she came in from field lame in front. Had slightly moved left fore shoe so thus was sorted but remained lame on front right leg.
Box rested and called vet. When he came out she had improved on front leg greatly but still 1/10 lame on right fore and also 1/10 lame on right hind.
She is off for both to be investigated and I am so worried. Thinks fore leg possibly something in foot and hind is either hock spavin or an injury from the kick
