One of our fellow HHO's and a good friend of mine is in hospital tonight after a really freak accident.

Chad panicked over something and tried to jump some electric fencing. Featherpower was on the other side of the fencing and as Chad got caught in it is seems it whipped accross her legs resulting in a broken lower leg/ankle (not sure which).

She is in theatre in the morning for surgery to insert plates and pins and it is looking like it will months before she is walking again.

Please send healing vibes to Featherpower.

Chaddy is fine, daft lad that he is, but Featherpower really not good at the mo. She is only just getting back to fitness following a fall a few weeks ago that resulted in broken ribs, poor girl

Vibes for Featherpower and just to reassure her/you - I had a plate and 9 screws to hold it in place when I broke the bottom of my tib & fib. I was on crutches with a pot on it for 6 weeks (with no weight on the foot at all for 5 weeks) but I had the pot off on the Thurs and went to the Great Yorks Show the following Tues on the crutches- well I wasn't going to pass up that opportunity when I have to work most years.
