Yet again for Buffy. Will try and keep it short. Have been concerned all year her eyesight not 100%, vet checked in February, nothing showing in her eyes, but advised to monitor. Took her back again this week as she seemed slightly worse, seems to have problem judging depth etc but can follow a moving item. Vet checked eyes again, but after watching her agreed something not right. She went back in yesterday for a morning of tests, nothing showing in her eyes but he is of the opinion that her eyesight is actually worse than we think and she is just compensating really well
Concern is possible damage to optic nerve, or some sort of tumour, her mum had to have an eye removed due to a tumour although totally different symptoms, and was visible at back of eye, so you cna imagine I am stressing. Anyhow, next move is take her to an eye specialist, am waiting for an appointment. She is not insured, typically, but that is not an issue in that I will find the money, Buffy has sabotaged family holidays in previous years with her crises. I am just praying they don't find anything that needs surgery as I just don't know what I will do. She already has a few problems and suspect she will not make an old dog
But vibes would be good for whenever we get the appointment. Thanks.
