David makes you work.. phew.. so does my boy!!!He is Floristan, I work on him every day and have a lesson one a month with David and one a month with Dan Sherriff, apart from that I trundle along by myself! Bid on him at Dressage sales, lost the bid, but then got him back later on in the eve when Gary Williams said he is yours if you want him! Went out a couple of weeks ago and did first elem. training , went wrong, rein back was pants and he spooked! Ha! got 60%odd in that one and 65% in the other... I need to practise more!

Thank you for that - a little master class - I was trying some counter canter in the school the other day but didn't really know which way my mare was supposed to bend...I can see clearly there that they should keep the "correct bend" over the leading leg - lovely (and it looked effortless from the vid!)

, he actually is hard work for me to keep together but then he is a big boy 17.2! When I get it together it makes it all worth while though!

I could not have got him like this though without having lessons, dressage is totally different to jumping! (Well my kinda jumping I did before!!) I shall definately get the vid on u-tube of him when I bought him a year and a half ago, you will laugh... I am sure!!! It makes me cringe! Ha!!
 
I suppose because I see him all the time and then see other fab horses I feel we are not good enough... stupid I suppose.
