The video highlights of the 2008 Oldenburg Stallion Days are up. They include video clips of the OS stallion Koerung (licensing) Jumper Champion, Le Champ Ask - both the testing and the bidding for him which as most know saw the hammer go down at a record price of 1.1 Million Euro.
There are also clips from the top 5 dressage stallions from the Oldenburg Koerung. Fuerstenball was of course fantastic, but it is also interesting to see the others including Sir Donnerhall's full brother.
Finally there are 4 clips from the evening Stallion Parade of stallions under saddle. That includes a tribute to the breeders of Royal Diamond, a clip of the 4 year old up and coming Royal Doruto who was 6th at the 2008 Bundeschampionate, an amazing performance by Blue Hors Romanov, and finally a fantastic bit of riding by Karin Rehbein on Quando Quando.
It was originally planned that Quando Quando would come out with Quaterback, but like so many others that had to be cancelled due to the heavy snow. Many either opted not to drive to Vechta at all, and others decided they needed to hit the road early to get home. The streets were awful.
However, there were some great performances and I think you'll enjoy the videos!
