Sorry but I really can't work out what your problem is? I am the first one to get annoyed when people are rude and sarky to requests for advice, everyone here has given similar and good nice advice, maybe thats because we do know what we are talking about, it's quite basic stuff, no one has been sarky and no one except you has mentioned outline
 
I ride PSG. But I do not instruct as my job is a behavourist hence why I am not blasting my mouth off giving exact advice when the horse is in fact perfect for it's stage if not better than most. To top it off lameness is being thrown into the situation and insulting a position so bluntly when she has a better seat than most in fact i think that is a talented young rider right there. But whatever this horse and hound forum is full of know it alls, I forget how perfect everyone is!

You have NO IDEA who sits here behind user names, just bear that in mind, whilst you ride your PSG.

Why would you be so upset by all of this. OP has come on here asking for advice and comments - which she's got. She's free to ignore or explore them further.

I asked a question about lameness as I thought the horse looked a little 'off' at times. Now, nowhere does it say we're not allowed to ask a question does it? And I don't assume for one minute that I'm right. OP has told me that as far as she's concerned horse is sound as a pound, which is great.

No one has blasted their mouth off (oh except perhaps one poster :rolleyes:). And no one has insulted the op.
 
Of course the horse is going to be off now and then. The mare has raced, so clearly not going to be the most balanced horse when in a school asking to do something so different. I personally, think that is quite a potentially upsetting comment to make when someone is trying so hard and clearly is doing a good job. But ohhh wow I am simply expressing people are being a little blunt about a rider who is doing a horse an entire world of good at the right level and putting in decent time. I mean seriously?

You post on a public forum, you run the risk of being upset (but that was not my intention at all, and the OP will be very aware of that).

Again, I don't think anyone's being blunt or offensive on this thread (you should see some of them.......;)). However, if you genuinely think that, this may not be the forum for you.

Absolutely.

Lovely horse with a lovely rider asking for a bit of guidance. It was a really nice positive thread with people doing their best to help in a constructive and gentle way for both horse and rider.

Go back and read the OP, she says she is not making further progress, she asked for advice on how to we have all given her tips on what to do now..most of us have said the same thing..what is the problem?
