Evening

Don't report any more since we have stopped eventing but today the sun has made me happy and I thought I would be brave :eek:

The plan was Royal Leisure and last night washed the Saf'odile (she snaps at me lots) and got home to find it was cancelled, lots of messages to friend and at about 11pm we decided to make the trek to Addington.

6am this morning did not seem such a good idea :(

Made it for friend to jump the BN she hates it indoors but think she is a convert at Addington its huge light and great surface, she did a fab round.

One class gap so time for the canteen, again clean and good food, are you getting the theme I like CLEAN lol :D

So my turn Saf was a bit touchy in the warm up, loads of horses and she cringed a bit at how close some got but soon got over it, not like her BTW.

Oh another thing I loved was the "Clare 5 to go" etc by the ring steward made me feel like a pro, good touch Addington :D

So the jumping, I know bored of the report want the fun bit.........well no frillies but a very happy jockey

CC welcome been having probs putting in extra strides so today was good for that

Loving Addington will defo be back, as for reporting we will see? ;)

they look huuuge for 1.05m - think Addington have a stretchy tape measure. Will happily jump round a BE100 SJ course so 1.05m BS shouldn't be that much bigger surely? Well done - made it look easy!
 
Can't watch the vid on the train but good to hear you're still out and about with Saf:-) Always like the look of Addington but it just seems likes such a looong way to go. Well done though...keep on reporting...we need a few of the 'old school back on here :-)

LJR agree about the rounds my nerves went a bit for the second class lol
 
I still think you should come back to Eventing; why did you stop anyway? was it your shoulder? She's cracking, you guys look fab, as usual!

I'm a little surprised by your experience of the organisation at Addington though. Great facilities, but not run by the most helpful bunch of people to say the least :rolleyes:

Would love to come back to eventing its mainly the shoulder but did sneek 2 in last year but more about the money, we will have to see :D

Thank you, and must have got them on a good day then was so friendly and loved the collecting ring guy he was so organised :)
