OH has decided we need a pup to bring on as a gundog alongside his current gundog who is 6. We only discussed it last week, me thinking that it would take a while to find a pup! Within 24 hours he had found one and we view tomorrow!! Its a long old trek, 6 hour round trip! Of course we may not bring her home but the crate is set up, water and food bowls bought, new bedding.. just in case!!

I imagine you must have been on the road by 6am.

So you must have seen the puppy and made a decision by now.

I'm a bit perplexed why you have not updated the post with an array of puppy pictures already.

At least a 'puppy in transit' photograph.

Do better.
We are viewing tomorrow, but yes, we will be on the road early!! Only seen photos and videos but I think almost definitely we will have one!! We know the chap who has the stud dog so we know they should be just what we are looking for, fingers crossed! I will do my best to update with photos... if we have her...!

Zero chance you travel that far, see a black lab puppy and don't bring it home immediately. Less than zero chance probably
My thoughts exactly!! OH keeps saying we'll if I don't like her we are not having her!! Yeah right!! He did this with the last lab. We viewed on a bank holiday Monday ( this weekend 6 years ago! ) on the way to a game fair. He said he would think about it and tell the chap later in the day. Everyone we stopped to talk to he told them about dog and that he wasn't sure if we were having her!! I knew from the moment he saw her she was coming home. We picked her up on way home that same day!

I'm so invested.

I am just so incredibly puppy broody atm. I keep scanning through adverts thinking, hmmm, just one small whippet bitch won't hurt?

I already have three dogs though. Four is just too many when I have to walk them all by myself.

Mega jealous of your puppy buying adventure today.

I'm sorry!! Just trying to settle her in crate. I really want to get some decent photos to post so you may have to wait a bit!! Sorry!!
Come on! We'd take pictures of her in her crate! LOL Some of my dogs best puppy pictures were taken within the hour we first picked her up as far as my proud mom memory is concerned. ;)
