I've been looking at camps next year to go to with the Destroyer and have found that they're all aimed for riders a tad better than me.
I.e. their SJ heights (for example) are higher that I'd want to jump etc.
So I was wondering how many people would be interested in more "beginners" level courses?
E.g. SJ that satrts at 1ft and goes up to 2ft 9". Xc the same. Dressage that starts at walk and trot tests then works up - that sort of thing.
So hence my first attempt at a little poll....

I would be as my horse is still very uneducated and novicey so would be brilliant for him, so I voted yes and then voted for everything. For me the smaller the SJ and XC the better

so the way it is set out, building the height up gradually would help me stop being such a numpty when it comes to confidence.
2-3 days got my vote

I may know of someone who would run a camp along the novice lines, would be based in east sussex. Could invole some dressage,sj,xc, and a pub ride, beach ride kind of thing

Let me know if anyone is intrested

don't know whereabouts you are but the camps run at Stockland Lovell and Ponitspool are aimed at all levels and you specify what height you are comfortable jumping at.

Also they are a very good learning curve but especially if you have a Hunter trial or ODE coming up

Our Riding Club does one for 4 days every year (about 20 years now) and we have from as small as you like to as big as you like normally the small group is 2ft 3 but have had smaller. HAve you looked at your local riding clubs?

Ditto the active riders camps. I loved it last year, and I am confident you will be better standard rider than the woman who i was assigned to shaare my lessons with. F not allowed to jump, but they had 1'9 SJ classes

I went to a BHS one in July this year & they put the heights at whatever you wanted. I did a grid work lesson & the jumps were teeny tiny. The flatwork was again - whatever you wanted. From riding straight lines, circles to lateral work. I was a bit worried too TBH but had the time of my life
