Views on on NAF Pink powder?

I have a TB which retired from the tack around 3/4 months ago. She has recently been scoped and has severe ulcers. We are now reviewing her diet to see what is the best for her to help encourage weight gain and condition whilst also going through a months worth of gastrogaurd and another scope next month. We are thinking of either a balancer or a wheat feed to try and encourage some weight gain, however Pink Powder has been recommended to me as an extra and I would like to hear to views and thoughts on it regarding this current or similar situations other people have experienced.

Wheat feed is not suitable for ulcers. I like pink mash, it contains a full dose of protexin but seems to do more than that on its own. I feed a balancer with it. If I need weight gain I add a rice bran oil pellet. I've never known anything like it for putting weight on in small quantities1
