Viki Shepphard Beau Cheval

I don't know anything about the lady you asked about .
Where do you keep your horse?
How long have you had him has he always been the same?
Do you keep him on a yard is there anyone experianced who can advise you.
You are doing the right thing trying to check out someone you are considering using before you spend a lot of money.

Ive had him since he was five he is 9 now , we moved yards about 9 months ago to one with better facilities it took him a while to settle in but he got there after a month or so.

In the last few months he has starting biting the staff and at me and kicking out at us dragged us to the field barging around , ive had checks done on him he is absolutely fighting fit physically

Ive asked people on the yard and they think he needs " a good telling off" well this wont work he will just fight back and we all know who will win

Horses behaviour changes for a reason you need to find it.
By checked out do you mean the vet has seen him.
Our vet refer cilents on to a behaviourist they use in cases like this is it worth asking yours if they know anyone it might be a better option than a someone with no personal recommendation .
I must admit I would personally tolerate being bitten I would keep a dressage whip in the box and give one crack to any of mine that tried that here I have staff working for me I tolerate no bad behaviour as you just can't when people working for you are handling them .
I would hesitate to tell you to give him a good telling off if you are not confident to follow though.
Have you cut food to a bare minimum and I mean a minimum and upped work to see if that helps.
Can you tried twenty four hour turn out ?
In the meantime I would be strict with myself no cuddles minimum fussing handle , work , feed.
How many people handle him ?

Probably no longer usefull but we had Viki out to help us with our 4yo TB who was difficult on the ground (difficult to lead, biting etc) - a single session and homework transformed him so very happy to recomend.
