Has anyone used them, and are they any good?
Can you take your horse and have a ride in saddles once fitted?
Do they stock second hand saddles?

TIA! :)

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend David I have used him for two horse saddles (one horse was a particularly difficult fit) and he is fitting a saddle on a pony for me next week.

Be prepared to wait for an appointment he is always busy but he is worth the wait, wouldn't use anyone else

He does stock second hand saddles, but usually makes from the pricey end of the market

If you search on here there are threads about village saddlery, which you will find totally positive I certainly have confirmed his competence on here before.

Hope that helps

ETA I have always had a made to measure saddle made and never bought off the shelf so I don't know if he stocks new saddles that you can just buy.

Due to location I have always had him travel for a fitting, but he does bring saddles with him

Highly reccomend David, excellent saddler and fitter, he's done all of mine, but as previous poster, he is very busy! Don't know if the shop has area for trying saddles, it's on a busy main road.

Another vote for them, I really trust David when it comes to saddle fitting and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Ditto, but no - no facilities to try a saddle out there. He has to come to u. It's just a shop on a main road, with a driveway the width of the shop as a carpark. :)

Another vote for David - excellent saddle fitter. Just isn't cheap to have him out as charges per mile. You get what you pay for though in my experience.
