Vintage riding wear ?

Hi, just spotted a lovely vintage navy blue hunt coat in a charity shop window, thinking of getting it - its from 1950s!
it looks very smart although i would change the buttons.......
Very tempted!
Beats paying £100+ for a new one.........and it looks lovely quality
Does anyone have a vintage jacket ?

yes, I do, a black one, and very smart it is too.

The fabric is still going strong with just a teeny darn on the edge of one sleeve though the lining may need some tlc soon. Only thing to watch is the fit - you may find that it is cut in a more 'hour-glass' shape than modern ones (if it fits it will look fabulous, makes your waist look tiny)

don't hestitate - get it!!!
