Have been looking at P&R for the new place, and the one that looks the best is the vinyl one.
I have seen it at Leahurst and although it is more expensive, it looks the nicest and seems maintanence free.
Does anyone on here have this, and if so, are there any down falls with it.

I looked into buying it, but cost ruled it out for me, although it is apparently maintenance free so would pay for itself over a number of years.

I have been told that it can discolour in the sun, but doesnt get brittle.

It looks so nice and is possibly the safest option of any fencing.

I also looked into this fencing. It is very very popular over here - lots of people installed it. When I did my research and spoke to as many people as possible about it, including vets, it seems it is nowhere near as safe as the manufacturers would have you believe. A couple of my vet friends mentioned numerous incidents with horses slicing legs and getting caught up in it. The icing on the cake was the cost though - for the amount that I needed to fence, the cost was prohibitive; so in the end I opted for either post and rail and stock fencing.

I do think it looks nice though and I know that no fencing is totally safe so you just have to weigh up the pros and cons of it.
