Just a heads up for anyone....yet another problem with them!

I sent off change of details form for Egg and Toast. This was about 8 weeks ago.

I received a letter today saying that according to their records Toast's chip may have come from a faulty batch and he may need rechipping.

He was chipped 02.10.10.

If anyone thinks they may have had their pet chipped around this time and has not received a letter please just give them a call and see if you are affected.
I have been offered a re-chip' but it expires oct 12.

Please, a two minute phone call can help protect your pet and give you peace of mind.

I've also had a letter from them this weekend, my little terrier was chipped last july (2011) so it appears the 'batch' was a big one covering a couple of years!!!! however, been to vets this morning and its working ok, they happily checked it for me they hadnt had any others in so far so she must be the only one locally affected by it.

such a worry when you get them chipped to protect them and the things potentially arent working ?????

I had the letter too for a chip done in Nov 2011 been to vets today for it to be checked and it is working fine.

Yep, also got the letter, he was chipped sometime in 2011.

Yeah I got the letter a couple days ago. Just need to get time off work to get him to the vets to check. He was chipped march 2011.
