I am looking to buy some Virkon disinfectant for the horses' stables as one of them is currently suffering from some kind of skin bacterial/fungal infection (we are still awaiting results of more tests - strep bacteria and possible ringworm have been mentioned). From what I can gather Virkon S is the one most commonly used for animals, but is there any reason I can not use the Virkon intended for human use (hospitals, nursing homes, catering etc) I can get the one for human use a lot cheaper than Virkon S through work, but just wondered if there was any reason not to use it for animals?
