My newly diagnosed EPSM mare is on the high oil diet and I am also supplementing Vit E and Selenium. I bought the NAF one as it was the only one at my local feed merchants but having now done a bit of research it seems expensive compared to other makes. What does anyone else use, how long does your tub last and how much does it cost?

Try to find Selenavite E by googling, it has a full range of vits and mins, not 'just' Vit E and Sel. It also has a daily dose of probiotic in it. I have forgotten the company but think it is in Newcastle on Tyne, Equine Products perhaps?

Th only thing it doens't have is calcium and phos. which many horses would get from their hay and grazing but can easily and cheaply be added in if you prefer.

I use the one from Equimins and order online (google their website) - very competitively priced and very fast delivery; you can get either the plain Vit E and Selenium or Super Vit E and Selenium which also includes a multi spec of vitamins and minerals.

If your mare is on a high oil diet why not boil linseed and you get the selenium thrown in for free, also the correct form of vitamin E which works synergistically with the linseed based selenium is only found in boiled barley.

Have you had a look at the new winergy equilibrium feeds? their high oil diet is already balanced with the correct levels of vit E and selenium so you don't have to add anything.

or you could get equivite vitamin E and selenium supplement but I still think the winergy feed works out safest and cheapest.
