Vitalin dog food.

Hi! Not been in here for ages.
I just wanted to ask a quick question about vitalin dog food.
Scoobs is on Auturkey and he seems really settled on it, but on sunday we went to a dog show and won a class (first ever win!) and we got a good sized sample pack of vitalin. I think it was the lamb flavour, i fed a handful to Scoobs and he loves it!
Was just wondering if anyone else feeds it to their dogs? I don't want to buy a bag and find its going to upset his stomach/its full of rubbish?!

It is full of rubbish, with the possible exception of the life stage ranges (which are still rubbish but no more so than most widely available foods).

Mine adore the bags of Cobbydog they get at shows but it has disastrous effects, I have learnt to pass them on to my boss's dog who has terrible wind anyway.

Ah okay, no wonder why he loves it if its full or rubbish! I'll stick to the auturky which he seems to be doing well on even if he only eats cause he has too!
I'll be passing the food onto the windy collie next door!

If it is the sensitive range it pretty much matches the Autarky. You could use it for training treats.

There are rumours that it has alledgedly been linked to epilepsy in dogs - none of this has been proved, I hasten to add.
