Voluntery work at a shelter.....

It's been a loooong time since I did any so dont know how to go about finding anywhere to do it.
Any idears?
Used to do dog walking/cleaning them out/chucking feeds around ect for Batersea dogs home many years ago as a teen,but have no idear where to start looking or what to expect to be doing.

Google rescues for your area, or go to www.dogpages.org.uk or maybe have a look in your local paper; then ring around a few and ask

I used to volunteer for a shelter before I got more involved with RDA. It's nice to be able to help isn't it, even if it's just a couple of hours a week. Good luck!
