I am looking to purchase as my boy has outgrown his current one! I am looking at a wintec due to the low maintenance/price and ability to change the gullets for my forever changing chunky ISH!

I am currently looking at gp and i have noticed the vsd. I do a bit of everthing really from hacking, schooling, odd clear round/ jumping class in summer, odd dressage test and popping a few logs in between. I rarely jump higher than 2ft 3 and i would say 70% of my riding is flatwork. I have been having flatwork/dressage lessons of late (walk&trot and pre lim level)

What is difference? Would a vsd be ok for the above? Anyone got any experiences of a vsd?

Mulled wine to anyone that can help me decided!:)

I use a VSD for my mare including hunting. Mostly it is ok but I would go for a GP if you do much jumping as my knee comes in front of the flaps when I shorten my stirrups.

I prefer a VSD to a GP as I do mostly flatwork and long distance hacking, with the occasional pop over a small log/fence/ditch, for which I probably take my stirrups up just a couple of holes (if I even remember!).
