vw passat electric adapter for ifor williams

have rcentaly bought a 07 passat went to move some matting and poles up to new yard to day moved horse over wek ago with old car well went to plug the eletrics in and well we couldnt as complea diffrent pins does any one know if there is an adapter you can get help help help !!!!!!!!!!!

You haven't said how many pins and how they are arranged etc etc

thank you car is a 13 pin and trailer is a 7 so now no what am looking for will pop down to local caravan shop and get one
