Right, bear with me, choccie biccies at the end!

First random waffle is DA had a new encounter the other night with the man up the road's helicopter!

He was such a good boy as it flew 20 feet overhead, then he refused to move until he had watched it land.

So first question is that DA, up until a few days ago, has been ridden in a loose ring centre revolver happy mouth snaffle*name & a half!*. However recently this has been rubbing the corners of his mouth quite badly. ( I am defo not being hard on his mouth)

Has anyone else had this happen with a Happy Mouth?

So I have borrowed a Myler from a friend and he goes very sweetly in it, normally he has a good old crunch on his bit for 5 minutes but he settled as soon as the myler went in.

However the Myler (level 1 Eggbut) seems a little large for him at a 5" which he normally takes, as the bend in the arms of the bit sit just at his lips & I assume this part should be in his mouth?

Can anyone tell me how it should sit? I have been on the Myler site & couldn't find any helpfull pics. Do you normally drop a size for Mylers?

Many thanks & choccie bics for commpleting as promised!

It does sound a bit big, mine all have the same size in Myler as other bits..although I only have one dressage legal one that they all have to share, seems to work even if it is 1/4" too big for one of mine

yup had that problem with my happy mouth-had to abandon it!i took a 5inch for my boy i think they are a little bit large.
