He He,

I was rather thinking that e looked like found my stash of vodka & Gin ;) No, he has just been cut hence the fect that he looks like he's been smoking weed and his dingle dangle was a bit covered, I cleaned it after the photo was taken. Honest to god though I had to knock on the neigbours door to let er know he'd just been gelded and not to worry, he looked like he had just come from sweeny todds parlour!! :)

Aw bet he didn't know what hit him! It's kinda cute seeing them all dopey :p It's good he was well behaved though.

I was chancing an arm there saying he was young, i don't usually make an assumption :p

I always imagined they'd hide their thing? I've never seen a gelding operation so wouldn't know :p

Bless him, everyone kept saying 'leave him entire' I need that like a hole in the head! I saw him at 2 weeks old, he was so adorable and bold. My chap brought him for me last christmas:) I am spoilt :) :)

He is a lot more bum high than that picture shows, the land is slightly up hill so it hides it, but there is no escaping his lolipop head at the moment! He looks all gawky ;)

I have only had 2 colts gelded but they tend to let it all hang out under the sedation.

You answered my next question there! I was going to ask how long you've had him. I am fairly nosey :p

I may have all this to go the year after next, my mares in foal to a Friesian and due around April so I'm all excited :D

Ah now gawky is cute! We've a foal just now at ours, she's my OH, and she's all rump high, she's nearly 6 months old i think, it's cute seeing them growing up in their wee spurts :D

Ellie's mum - I wouldn't come back either if it were me!! Can't blame him :p
 
k_o_d Daughters gelding soon got over it though :p


Amazing what the bribe of carrots can achieve isn't it :p :D He trots around the field behind her now whereas before he was cut he would frequently decide she wasn't going to catch him easily :mad: ;)

Ben Nevis, I call him Benney :) he's my baby (awww bless!) Or at the moment with the growth 'bum, chest, bum' thing I also call him my little see-saw! lol! :p

Well now, we have similar tastes then, whats your mare's breeding? I look forward to seeing the foaly pics :D Here is my 16 yr old Friesian x TB mare :D :D have owned her for 8 years

I am also pleased to announce that benney did not run away from me this morning (I can't believe how perky he looks considering what the op was :o Instead he ran straight for me and gave me a sloppy kiss, guess you all must be right, he fancies me :D:D:D
