Both of Roxie’s eyes have swollen up this afternoon and she’s all squinty bless her.

I’ve called the vets and understandably they are only taking emergencies with the current situation so I’m waiting for a vet to call me back.

She’s had this before and drops sorted her out so I’m sure she’ll be fine this time, but it’s quite unnerving not being able to quickly pop down to get her seen.

Oh the poor thing! Is it an allergy?

I think it could well be an allergy as we cut the grass yesterday and she’s been out in the garden all afternoon.

Vets have rung back and as we have an opened eye gel from a previous episode we are going to use that, rather than go in to practice.

Hopefully it does the job!

Oh fingers crossed that sorts it - they do like to worry us don’t they ?

They’re never ill or injured when everything is open and easily available ?

I even said to her this morning that she couldn’t be ill anytime soon with how everything is and she blatantly ignored me ?

Just realised this should have said unopened eye gel, not opened!
