Hello, I am a new member and after a little advice if anybody can help please? My TB ex-racer is recovering from injury and we have been instructed to give her 10 mins in hand walking exercises twice a day and rest of time on box rest. All was great for first 2 weeks as she is usually rather laid back, but now she is getting bored and proving a little difficult to handle. Having a few skips and bucks when in hand leading which is not really productive to her recovery. Any ideas on how I can manage this, I am leading her in a bridle for extra control and trying to find times when the yard is quite and peaceful, I have tried giving her some interest with some poles on the ground, but she has that cheeky glint in her eye every time we lead her out now and her body is on full alert any noise or distraction sets her off. 10 minutes seems like a lifetime at the moment and that adrenalin kicks in which I am sure she is picking up on. Thank you
