My 7 month old is driving me nuts, he is so well behaved but I am having difficulties with walking some days he is just fantastic and does all his exercises perfect (walk, halt, etc) and really listens to our cammands and others - well!!!!! stubborn thats an understatement.

Anyone got any hints, tips all advice will be greatly appreciated

A Be Nice halter. Having a stroppy Irish draught mare that can be a baggage to handle I have to say it is the most useful piece of kit I own. I can stop all 600kg of her from a gallop with a tug on the leadrope! Teaches manners and correct leading without pain. Think I am starting to sound like a bunny hugger! Lol!!

Do you mean, he plants himself and refuses to budge? If that is the case, it's easier if there are two people to encourage him forward.
