Having a pity party after my youngster chucked me off again today in the school. We'd been on such a good run recently and it was all abruptly ended by a very sudden, and very hard downpour. She took exception to the excessively hard rain, took off, bucked a few times. I managed to sit a decent amount but popped her on a circle (as she wasn't showing any signs of slowing down) and then she lost her balance and freaked herself out, exploded again, and I lost a stirrup after one buck too many and then was launched
Now feeling very sore and very sorry for myself, with the odd "I am too old for this" thought creeping in now and again (I'm definitely not, I'm 36, but I feel like I'm 100 atm). Why is it that every time I fall off, I land on exactly the same spot on my lower back that takes WEEKS to heal? Waaahhh
