Just had an email forwarded from Swindon & District Riding Club:

We very much regret that, due to the recent extreme rainfall making the field unusable, we have taken the decision to cancel our show on Saturday.

Anyone who has pre-entered on-line will receive a refund through PayPal in due course. Cheques from postal entries will be destroyed.

The Show Society very much appreciates the interest you have shown in our event and sincerely hope you will support us again in the future.

I'm not surprised, I live near there and it was absolute chaos when all that rain fell!

i was going. apparently the feild is under water so wouldnt want ti ride there anyway

As i'm taking mine aff on sun, a woman down the yard wanted me to jump her's, she got all excited. I only live about 5 miles away and my house got flooded last year and it was really touch and go this time, very lucky. All the fields got flooded, looked like big lakes.
