My boy is 18 this year and I want to do some in-hand showing with him. He's a ex-racehorse so also eligible for RoR stuff as well as veteran classes....where do I start?!

Start by going out and watching some of the classes that you want to do.
YOu need to watch the affiliated classes and look at the winners.

That will give you a good idea of how the classes are run etc.

Then you get all the kit generaly shirt, tie, Tweed jacket (green or brown base if you are buying new), Hat, Trousers, short boots/shoes, gloves and a cane for inhand classes for the handler.
FOr the horse it will depend on type which will largely depend on how much bone he has. He could fall into one of 3 categories - Hack, Riding horse, LW hunter, we would need a picture to determine which and then we can advise on turnout for him.
