Want to re-home a small dog!

Does anyone know of anyone who is selling or wanting to re-home a small dog preferbly no bigger than a westie?
My autie is looking for one and were going to go to some rescue centres this weekend but there seem to be loads of big dogs about,
 
Hi I have a scruffy mini schnauzer boy I am looking to re-home, he's 2 yrs old, lovely with kids, cats, other dogs, horses, housetrained, very active so would need an active home
I'm in Sussex though, where are you/ your Aunt?

There are loads of small dogs around in rescues too

. you could try looking in the forums on www.dogpages.org.uk There are many, many rescues that do not have centres as such as they are mainly foster based. The benefit of them being in foster homes is that they are more likely to have been assessed properly. Dogs often don't show themsleves well in kennels.

i am looking to re home any westie but can't find one anywhere! I have a 4 year old son and they don't seem to let them go where there are children. Have tried all the rescue places. If anyone knows of any I am near Portsmouth.
