Wanted ads

Do they work?
I put one on Horsemart last night but have since spent a bit more time on the site and the wanted bit is really hard to find (IMO).
Has anyone used one with success?

I would put a wanted ad on Horsequest instead..

I thought about it but HQ seems to only have very expensive horses and ponies listed and I only want a cheap youngster, I will look into it.
I also wondered about the freeads?

A foal or yearling biggish pony type thing (I fancy a newfie but before setting off to Hampshire thought I might find one closer to home).

I agree the wanted ads are hard to find on HM.

I put a wanted ad on HQ and got a HUGE response, granted some were out of budget but some were below. Ask people to email in the 1st instance with photos, saves a lot of time IMO.

I put a wanted ad in my local paper. Literally the same day as it went in i had a phone call, and went to look at my horse that weekend. I put it in there not expecting to get any responses and was on the verge of giving up looking.
