Due to being let down again, my brother is desperately looking to offer a 'forever' home to a deerhound or similar large(tall) dog. He is in a stable relationship, has another lurcher type dog, has had deerhounds for the past 10 tears or so, his own home, large car kitted out for dogs to travel in, no children or cats, walks for miles each day, just taken early/partial retirement so plenty of time. If anyone knows of any dog thats fits the description looking for a fantastic home please reply. He has tried and is on the waiting losts for most of the national rehoming charities.
 
Look Katherine, I had my dogs welfare at heart, as I have told you, your brother is a lovely man, his life style, I felt is not right for my dog. So please stop having digs at me, I wouldn't dream of doing it to you. The one thing important to me is my dog, and not your feelings so please stop the digs.

I have already told you and your brother that lurcher link have lots of dogs needing a home so I don't know why you are looking still when there are so many available.

I have to say that Your brother is a lovely man, and would make a lovely daddy for any hound.

Can I just say that OP's brother is a lovely man and would make a lovely owner for any hound, I just felt that our boy was a little too sensitive for all the travelling that he would have to do. But I spent a whole afternoon with him and feel I got to know him, and he is lovely
