Wanted - Essex, Chelmsford Property to Rent

This is a long shot but worth a post......

Basically I'm trying to find a property for rent in a 5 mile radius of Chelmsford, Essex area. Even up to Witham.
30yo working male.
Problem is he has a dog and none of the letting agents seem to have anything on their book that allow pets.
Ideally 2 bedroom so his daughter can stay but 1 bedroom is better than nothing.

He drives so being out in the sticks doesn't matter.

Any ideas where I can look or properties for rent?

Have you tried looking on gumtree?? Usually loads of places on there, its how we found our dog friendly landlord

Try land agents (Savills and the like) or "horsey" estate agents - Zoe Napier for example - they tend to have more countrified clients! We found our cottage via land agents, landlord was happy for one dog and that was it - but we've now got three dogs, two cats, chickens and ducks!

contact estate agents in the area and ask about properties they are advertising but wont be managing,go and look then ask them to ask owner if they will allow pets if deposit is bigger and carpets and all soft furnishings are professionally cleaning when the tenant leaves, i had 2 of my dogs outside in a kennel with a heat lamp at the last place cos only one was allowed in the house on the tenancy agreement
