Wanted scruffy rescue lurcher

I have one scruffy little black lurcher and am now wanting a friend for him. I am wanting a rescue one as my others have all been rescues and we have a fabulous place crying out for one. Ideally it needs to be over 4 months and under 12months. I will get it neutered so thats not important - dog or bitch. I have horses and several nieces and nephews so Ideally a youngster to learn to get on with these. Have no small furries but will have sheep and chickens so again an older one my be a problem

Does anyone know of any BedlingtonX or rough coated whippet terrier crosses in rescue. I am searching all rescue sites and nothing out there at the moment. If anyone does know of one please PM me and let me know

Have you looked on Lurcher Link or Greyhound gap? Loads of dogs needing homes on their forums, mostly in foster homes and assessed before finding permanent homes.

I have looked and at the moment it really seems to be older dogs everywhere and unfortunately i really think we need to have a youngster to have any chance of getting it horse, chicken, sheep and children friendly.

Will keep checking everyday - I could give hundreds a home but need to try and stay slightly sensible and on track with what we want.

It is three years old but you could ask it's background and if they have tested it with livestock.
