My sharer went to Uni in October and I work full time and I am finding it hard never getting a day off so I am looking for a new sharer 1 or 2 days a week (1 weekend day available)
Smudge is a 10 year old 15.3 Coloured mare. She has been out of work for nearly 12 months following a hock injury but has now been pronounced fit by the vet to start being brought back into work again after a sucessful steriod injection.
Initially, as she need to be brought back into work doing lots of walk, and building her her trot/transistions etc I would not be looking for any financial contribution, but I would like someone who will muck out etc on their days to give me a day off.
Assuming she stays sound, once she is fit and back jumping and has been working properly for a few months I would eventually be looking for a small financial contribution of around £35 to £60 per month dependent on whether 1 or 2 days a week. I also have a trailer so there would most likely be opportunities to compete locally and take part in fun rides etc if desired.
Smudge does need a confident rider as otherwise she is inclined to take the mickey and do whatever she likes (which is mostly not a lot!) She loves hacking in company, but needs a lot of work in getting her hacking out alone again as she has lost all her confidence. There are usually people to hack out with on the livery yard, especially at weekends.
Prior to her injury she was jumping 2' at local shows and higher at home and she enjoys jumping. She was also out doing intro dressage and had just started prelim. However she will need restarting at intro. She has also been out doing fun/pleasure rides.
She is based on a livery yard with floodlit school, jumps and off road hacking on the door step located in the area between Solihull/Coventry/North Warks.
