I bought a ten year old navicular quarter horse a couple of years ago that had been "sound" since 2007 with eggbar shoes & wedges but has gone downhill in the past few months. My vet advised me to denerve him but I would really like to try to do a barefoot rehab on him. I certainly do not have the means or money to send him to a rehab place and I am having a hard time finding specific information on how to do this rehab, how they should be trimmed/worked, fed etc. Is there a book or other means of information out their? Thanks!!!
