Hi everyone Im new hear. my names Rebecca and 26 this year. I have been out of the saddle for about 8 years minus a few lessons hear and there. I previously had my own ponies/horses from been 7ish to 18. we owned two ponies welsh cross who taught me how to stay in the saddle and stunning strawberry roan new forest cross mare which i shall try tell you more about her later as she had a special story (our ponies may not have been much to the spectator but they were our's and very special to us) and a Clydesdale cross to take my dads weight. Anyways due to family problems this became the end of a special time for me with the horses.
So after getting some sort of career, settling down with my OH, having my beautiful little boy (he's four now) plus buying a house going back to my childhood passion has slowly gone down the scale up until now
Am looking for a little bit of advice as when i had my horses I was always backed by my parents financially and this of course will be a big step for me. so i was thinking of starting riding lessons again once a week to get my self re established in the saddle (also going to start with my little one with lessons) and then may be in time seeking a part loan?
I would just like to say when i had my own ponies i was not the pampered princess and i was up there all weathers lugging wheels barrows water etc so I still remember the hard work it does involve at times
Im just looking for general pointers may be average costs for the future
thank you
