Today, I was lucky enough to go to a pre-release screening of "War Horse". It was absolutely stunning! It will defintely make you cry. A beautiful, haunting film. The horses, especially Joey and Topthorn, are wonderful. For someone not to be moved by it, then they must have a heart of stone. The terrors the men and horses faced in WW1 must have been dreadful. We owe our equine friends such a lot. Go see it when it comes out, you won't be disappointed.

Wow how lucky are you to have already seen it, I am waiting for the 13 jan so that we can go. I was bad enough at reading the book and I know that I will need a box of tissues to take with me, a friend of mine is going to see the live show in London in March and I really want to go, but will have to wait till I have saved some more money, so for the time being I am counting the days to the film is out. :)

I read the book and I cried buckets, at soo many parts of the story.
I went to see the live show in February and cried buckets again even though I knew what was going to happen. My un-horsey OH even shed a tear or two himself, it's such a moving story.
I can't wait to see the film when it comes out even though I know I will be in tears again!
