War horse !!

I haven't seen it in theatre, would very much like too :)

I watched it in cinema when it first came out but as it was so sad I missed half the film from having to keep looking away, so thought I'd treat myself today :p

I suppose it is rather like black beauty but most the horsey films all rather follow the same pattern.

I used to Like the old flicker films aswel :)

:D absolutely definately go to see the stage version,, its brilliant but very moving so take tissues......havent seen the film as i was so emotional for the stage play...couldnt go through it again.

The theatre version is going in tour next year, I've just got tickets for it for next October so excited! Worth checking their website to see if it's anywhere near you!

I saw it at the theatre in London, amazing! I have just got tickets to see it in Manchester in January 2014, and already the best seats are booked so if its coming near you my advice is to book, don't leave it too long!

Was only thinking about this yesterday.

We saw it in London two years ago, went for daughter's birthday as family, also with 2 teenage boys. We ALL LOVED it :-) Absolutely the best production i've ever seen.

Desperate to see it again, will check website.

If you only do one thing in the next 12 months, go & see the stage version.

Me too . Disappointed.
Same here. I watched it on a flight and was worried after all I'd heard that I'd sit there crying and made a fool of myself but remained strangely unaffected. Id watched a BBC documentary about the real war horses with old footage before I saw the film and that made me cry so seeing the film was nowhere near as emotional plus it seemed disjointed.

I enjoyed the film, as it wasn't a bad film. However, I thought that it was bleedingly obvious in all the scenes meant to be heartrending and emotional that the horse was behaving in a very un-horselike way and clearly responding to cues given by an off-screen handler. So I didn't get all worked out over it.

How can they possibly do a film about an equine in WW1 and not have a SINGLE mule in it!!!!!!!!!!!!
